Chapter 30: Oh! Panic Farm

Clown or Artist, Carlos 'Bruskowh' Barrera has got the gist being on the stage.

“You guys didn’t come to the rehearsal.” says Toshiro. “We were doing our hairs.” Tofu sisters give him excuse in British accent. “Don’t worry Toshiro, we just need to drink some Lau Lao.” Bruskowh is fearless.

Sakura bar on the tourist quarter of Vang Vieng, hosts three nights for my ever-lasting music project.

‘Francesca’ and Lek, our lovely manager and photographer. Who’d thought I’d ever tour with groupies.

Start the first two nights with breezy acoustic set of Toshiro

And April 24th, ten of us are the Panic Farm!

‘Chooo… Bop, bop, bop’ featuring Bruskowh on Rap and Harp, and Wenna and Bethan Tofu sisters on doo-wop vocals.

Soft and quiet, Miguel brushes on his hand-made metal triangle

Francesca joins Miguel

Kien, the last minute visitor (I met him 20 minutes before our show) saves us with his supportive bass line

Rule 6, if you sing out of tune, just do it again. Funk, Rock, Jazz, Folk and Blues, mixed with 6 nationalities, can truly be a panic!

Thanks Jason, owner of Sakura bar.

“We’re gotta do it again!” Toast for the first one of our many successful nights.

*photos in this chapter by Lek, except for the first one by Miguel Aflalo
